The DAS website that existed for the past two decades and more has been taken down.  The new website will be up a little later today.  There will still be a little bit of work to be done with it in coming days, but the new website will be far more stable than the old one.

The DAS website is down and we don't know for how long. Our webmaster is out of state, and we may have to wait for his return to see if come back online. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Scholarship Fund is accepting applications from students who will be pursuing a four-year degree in the physical sciences, preferably related to astronomy, astrophysics, and related engineering.

Please spread the word about the applications being open far and wide, and let people know they can start applying as of now.

Information about the process is located at the VNH Scholarship page on our website, here:

    https://www.denverastro.org/?page_id=201

The actual application process has been moved completely online, and is located here:

    https://qvbtfntp.paperform.co/

Additionally, I ask that if you know anyone involved in education, whether at the high school or college level, to let them know as well.  We want to spread the word far and wide.  Teachers, professors, guidance counselors, principals, financial aid officers, administrators . . .

    Thanks!

    Jon Groubert
