Hi Robin - I've noticed for 20 years that carrying bags specific to telescopes are always ouchie.  That's how I got into making and customizing my own.  If you can scrounge some time out of life's hectics, plus a little foam and waterproof canvas and a zipper, this one looks pretty easy.  Might need some tough sewing needles, whether you do it by hand or by machine.  I believe Grumps uses golf cases too, if you can find one the right size.  I usually look around everywhere before I find the perfect thing, then am eternally glad when I do.
