I have a classic 6 inch f/8 reflector telescope from EdsCorp (AKA Edmund Scientific). Might be called the Super Space Conqueror, and the view seems to be pretty good. I was able to see the Red Spot of Jupiter, and the hollow that it is in. I saw some other details on the face of Jupiter. There might be a tiny bit of spherical aberration. I was able to clean the mirror (somewhat), but I could not get the mirror out of the cell. The rubber base is stuck to the bottom of the mirror. I've had some advice that floss or thin string could be used to separate the mirror from the rubber base of the 6 inch mirror holder, but I have not done that yet.

Think of this as getting a 47.5 inch long 7 inch tube (1/16th inch wall thickness) with a focuser and a pretty good diagonal mirror on a stalk with a free 6 inch primary mirror!
