There are a number of modifications to this scope that would make this more suited for use with an electronic focuser. The focuser draw tube has been cut down and an adapter ring was removed, and the focuser glued into the tube with Weld-On. There's also a missing knob on the focuser (where an EAF would attach). Moving the focuser out past a certain point causes it to fall off the rails and go loose. (It doesn't fall out completely though. There's about 5mm of good focuser travel, and this can be adjusted with 42mm spacers.). I'm fairly handy, but repairing this was beyond me. Getting this scope back to stock would require either machining out the Weld-On or soaking the scope in a solvent with the etalon attached.
